John Mellencamp Concert July 15 at Oshawa GM-Centre

Oshawa - John Mellencamp is making a concert-stop in Oshawa this summer during his cross-Canada tour which begins in Penticton, British Colombia this June.  

The famed singer-songwriter, once known as John Cougar, has had ten Top-10 singles on America's Billboard chart including, Hurts So Good, Pink Houses, Cherry Bomb and his 1982 #1 smash-hit, Jack & Diane.

Inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, Mellencamp will bring his No Better Than This tour performing the various styles of his music spanning his 35-years career as an artist.

As an added bonus, the opening act for the summer concert is Canada's own, Cowboy Junkies, the Toronto-formed band known for such songs as Sweet Jane and Angel Mine.  

The concert is scheduled for Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Oshawa's GM Centre and tickets are $54.00, $74.75, and $95.25 each.  There is a maximum of four tickets for preorders and eight tickets for public onsale.
