Royal Bank coming to Longworth Ave in Bowmanville

Bowmanville is growing again! The fast developing retail plaza at the corner of Longworth Ave.  and Scugog  St. will soon welcome a new Royal Bank branch.  This new location will be open in addition to the existing Royal Bank branch on King Street.

The only other bank in north Bowmanville is TD, located at the shopping centre at the northeast corner of Liberty St N. and Longworth Ave.

The new bank will be a part of the multi-tenant building in the north end of the plaze. No drive –through is proposed for this branch. Other businesses to join the new neighbourhood centre will include retail and professional services.

680 Longworth Avenue is already home to a new FreshCo store, which opened its doors in March.

Durham Region Transit serves the area by Bus route 502 – which travels north and south along Scugog Street.
